Grateful Market

Do you have a market Conversation Mill should visit?

I recently visited Grateful Market at Double Blessing Farm in Travelers Rest, SC. Hosts John and Rachel Palacino created a fall market for local artisans that you may not find at some of the large summer markets.

Many of the Grateful Market vendors are just getting their business off the ground. They are testing the market to get branding and price right. Some of the vendors are as young as 11 years old!

Grateful Market runs through October, and I attended the first Saturday market to meet the vendors. Each vendor stopped by Conversation Mill to share a bit about their goods and the motivation behind their efforts.

In communities across the country, local artisans and farmers are coming together to create markets that feature a myriad of local goods. Do you have a market in your community that is doing something unique or that features underrepresented farmers, artisans, artists, beekeepers, etc?

Email Conversation Mill at chat@conversationmill.com and share the story of your local market. Conversation Mill will either feature your local market or come visit and record an episode at your market.
